How can we help?

Answers to the common questions — and a direct line if yours isn't here.

What is Anchor?

A focus journal for iPhone and the web. Each morning you commit to three things: one priority, one window of focused work, one thing you won't do. Anchor structures the day around those commitments — journaling, a focus timer, and an app blocker included.

How do focus windows work?

Your day is framed as three windows — Deep Work, Wellbeing, and Light Tasks. Each holds what it deserves: your hardest task, your health, and the admin that would otherwise eat the day. You arrange the times; Anchor keeps the frame visible.

How does the app blocker work?

On iPhone, Anchor uses Apple's Screen Time technology. You pick apps in Apple's own picker and seal them until a chosen time; iOS itself enforces the block. Ending it early means typing a 20-digit code by hand — deliberate friction. We never learn which apps you chose; the selection never leaves your phone.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Photos you add to Share Your Day are stored on your device only and never touch our servers. Sharing a finished card is always something you do yourself.

Where is my data stored?

In your account, on our servers, protected by row-level security — your entries are readable by you alone. We don't run ads, we don't track you across apps, and we never sell data. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. Everything tied to your account — tasks, journal entries, focus history — is deleted with it. If you've already lost access, email us and we'll handle it manually.

When does Anchor launch?

July 2026, on the App Store, free at launch. The beta is running now over TestFlight.
