Anchor does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your journal entries or personal reflections
• Your name, email address, or personal identifiers
• Your location or device location data
• Your contacts, camera, or microphone data
• Any health or biometric information

All data created within Anchor — including your journal entries, focus sessions, priorities, and Focus Windows — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal content. We have no access to what you write.

We may collect basic, anonymous usage data to help us improve the app. This may include:

• App crash reports (no personal content included)
• General usage statistics (e.g. which features are used most)
• Device type and iOS version (for compatibility purposes)

This data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Anchor does not share your data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. The app does not contain ads. If we ever integrate a third-party service (such as cloud backup), we will update this policy and notify you in advance.

Anchor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this app and have concerns, please contact us at the email below.

Because your data lives only on your device, it is protected by your device's own security systems (Face ID, passcode, etc.). We strongly recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure passcode to protect your journal.

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after any changes means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
